Gratitude goes to last session’s president, Fiona Johnston, for all her hard work.

With refreshments and cake, too, a great time was had by all!

In the glorious architecture of the History Department in Ayr’s Carnegie Library, a group of Ayr Writers’ Club members and families gathered for the launch of a new poetry collection, in celebration of the recent poetic achievements of our writers. Rich in variety, voice and vividness, the collection has something for everyone, and some poets read their work to the audience.
