Ken selected ‘needle drops’ from the movies, while I found poems on the same themes which I had written over the years. Turns out we make a pretty good team! .

Having been supporters of The Friends of the Broadway Cinema Prestwick from the very start of their plan to bring it back to life, when we were asked to perform there, as part of their fundraising activities, it was a dream come true.

What a thrill and privilege to be the first live, vocal performance for75 years, in this wonderful building, as it springs back to life. An unforgettable experience, and the chance to perform the poem, Hibernation, I had written specially about the building!
